About Amaus Dental Services
Compassionate Care
At Amaus Dental Services, we welcome patients from all backgrounds, nationalities, and religious affiliations. Because we are all volunteers, we are able to provide professional dental service free of charge. Patients travel to Amaus from all over Central New York and beyond. Our operatories are equipped with state-of-the-art dental technology. We require only that patients be uninsured and over eighteen.
Since 2014
Amaus Dental Services opened in 2014. We are a ministry of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Our founders, Msgr. Neal Quartier; Dr. Lynn-Beth Satterly, MD; and Dr. David Dasher, DDS, recognized that many in the neighborhood could not afford to see a dentist. Free dental care was sorely needed because, while hospital emergency rooms may provide temporary relief, only dental professionals can provide definitive solutions to serious dental problems.

The Story of Amaus
After the crucifixion, some disciples were traveling to Amaus. On the road, they met the risen Christ, but did not recognize him. That night at supper, when Jesus blessed the bread, the disciples' eyes were opened to His presence among them. They felt the fire of God's love in their hearts.
Through compassionate dental service, we at Amaus Dental Services strive to be the face and hands of Jesus. Inspire by love, our dental professionals recognize Christ's presence in everyone who comes through our door.
